I really want to like bsky but it seems almost averse to older fandoms and other things I'd like to interact with.

As it should be.
I really need to stop watching vods of playthroughs. It's always stuff I've already played, and it's taking time away from playing new things, doing art, hobbies...it's just so easy to turn on the vod and do idle stuff. Ugh.
It's so vibrant...is that a mix or a pot?
Got to Cosmo Canyon. May or may not have had some tears forming at the Torch event. #ff7rebirth #finalfantasy
ATLA or Legend of Korra
OG FF7 or FF7 Remake project
Strong gay characters or stereotypical gay characters
Buttered popcorn or kettle corn
The twitter algorithm decided I wanted to see two - not one, but TWO - posts from High Lord Dickhead Trump in a row.
After I stopped laughing, I wanted to punch Elon Musk in the face. Nothing on my activity, timeline, etc, should have given the algorithm the idea I wanted to hear ANYTHING from him.
People changing their names on their birth certificates is more legally official than what Trump did, but no, those people have to identify as whatever Billy Joe and Bobby Jean want to call them.
"It's just a name." -Bob
Yeah, BOB. It's JUST A NAME. So stop deadnaming kids, BOB.
ugh.
how does one be excited for 9-1-1 and buddie and all that
and avoid all the annoying assholes in the fandom actively trying to make people hate actors
omg i wrote a thing
i haven't written in a year
help what do i do
I am now sitting here actually crying because I have an incurable condition that prevents me from enjoying contributing to fandom in any meaningful way, combined with the fact that I fucking love writing and drawing and haven't done either in A YEAR.
Context:
I have neuropathy in my hands after my chemo, and it makes typing a chore some days. And I type for a living. I was just reading a really intense fic and my hands were tingling and I realized that writing something meant putting myself through physical pain.
Not a good feeling.
Ever read something like a heavy fanfic or a blurb or something and get so tied up in the emotion of the scene that you begin to think you'll never be able to write anything ever again?
No? Just me?
Well shit.
People just REALLY hated the jump to 3D models. Like. A lot.
Hey all you tabletop fiends
A friend of mine has launched a kickstarter for an out-of-the-box style storytelling board game. It's intended for ease of use and is a good entry point into the world of RPGs in general. Take a look~

Reminds me of that old Penny piece you did years ago. Similar color scheme and vapor effects~
Had someone at work say she hopes trump can get a third term because."if Roosevelt could have four, Trump can have three."
These people haven't picked up a civics book in 50+ years and it shows.
omgomgomg
I don't have anything quite this detailed for my world - all my maps are more general, world-scale, not regional. I should give it a try some time.
Yes, bluesky, give me more art posts to adore. Fan art, OC art, sketches, tattoo art, gimme it ALL.
Not only are these cute as hell, but they help to break up the silhouette in such a skin-tight outfit, helping the brain to automatically identify the character.
hey YO? MAPS? We do maps here?!
LOVE this.
Well then, we're both lucky bsky decided to throw it across my discovery tab!
And you're not alone. I suffer from a lot of confidence issues with my own art.
As a fan artist, there's no reason to compare your work to canon work anyway.
If they wanna draw characters super buff, super busty, super thiccccccc, it's their prerogative. But trying to make it sound like they're supposed to be that way is just weird behavior.
She wasn't alone, either. The 90s were WILD for female characters across the board.
Love the clothing and the pose a lot. Very nice~
*vibrates in peacock*
How is it that I constantly wind up in circles that involve ship wars...like...brutal, drag a character through the mud ship wars.
It's embarrassing behavior.
Dislike a character. Hate them even. But unless you can give a reason that isn't "they got in the way of X ship," stfu.
