Glad to see this being documented because it's the kind of quiet ravaging of a public space that slowly guts a city. I didn't live here then, but at the time the "front porch" aspect of this relatively new build was touted over & over.

Haha - same, which is crazy considering he is the archetype of a "mad" scientist. Never would have known of him but for my 10th grade chemistry teacher who was obsessed, and wish schools showed his clips more often because the guy LOVED science and was so entertaining.

My goal this year is to learn the alternatives & make my exit. It’s hard when so many in the design industry have dug in their heels (and intimidating to start fresh when I have used so many of the programs for a couple decades) but it simply doesn’t make sense anymore. My tipping point has arrived.
Love paying $70/month to a company that threatens me with obsolescence if I don’t use the AI they’re building into the software that barely does what I paid for it to do anymore.

You actually can if you use the app. There’s a setting under “General” —> “Time Management” called Shorts feed limit and you can set it to 0.
