people are like, “i chose to live in a small apartment bc it saves me money teehee!”
meanwhile, people who are used to poverty and prob being priced out of small apartments: *slow clap*

i haven’t looked forward to july and august so much in my life.
i tried to updated the @amtrak.com app bc it required it after signing me out. now it’s just a loop from the app to the app store and back. maybe it’s just my old phone. i don’t need it now but how can i dream without it?

i feel really close to when ideas become reality. it’s better than opening presents.
clinton street needs one

a friend needs to find somewhere to live soon, if you know of any shared houses/etc. in London that’s accommodating for a currently-unemployed trans woman, please get in touch 🩷
snapshot from one of Oscar’s memorial paintings i did last year :3
it feels like we need this reminder right now: if you’re sick, stay home.
i have my complaints about bsky but threads has many users that make surreptitious market research posts & it’s creepy. the responses are the problem. answers are analyzed and sold to companies to inform how they operate. stop responding to posts that generate drama.
revised! i’m happy with it!! block will be abt 6” wide on 8x6 i think

The next time I see somebody think they got one up on the fascists by calling them mentally ill I am going to lose my shit.
So many of y'all need disability justice like fucking yesterday, with an extra dose of understanding Mad liberation.

I packed onions at the Oregon Food Bank today. 1 in 5 Oregonians get support from a food bank now. I am glad these orgs are working to get food to those who need it but it’s frustrating to see such a failure of government to take care of its people. 20% of the population shouldn’t be food insecure.
It was nice seeing a group of kids and an adult making chalk art in the street on the way home. ☺️
There is a new book by an Indigenous author pretty much every time I go to the bookstore, in all sorts of genres, and I can't possibly keep up and read them all, which is the most wonderful problem to have. We absolutely rock.
There isn't going to be a general strike. Nobody is prepared for it.
If you want to have a general strike, you need resource sharing. You need mutual aid funding. You need babysitters. You need transportation. You need protection from state sanctioned violence.
You need community.
A screen shot that reads “The Wheel of Time has been officially canceled by Prime Video and will not return for a fourth season. Despite positive critical reception for season 3, the show was canceled in May 2025 due to a combination of high production costs and declining viewership. There are no plans to shop the show to other platforms.”
this is annoying #wheeloftime

instead of mourning this go to a powwow or an indigenous casino & buy yourself or a neighbor something from a native vendor. hope that helps. 🤷🏻♀️
i don’t want piles of clothes either. i just want to wake up and know i can throw on seasonally appropriate clothes for the day without thinking too much.
i, like many people, repeat outfits. i wish i could buy 10 full outfits for each season that were interchangeable in some ways. 2/2
otoh i could easily buy a bunch of new clothes. it’s very hard to find clothes in my size, that i know i’ll enjoy for many years, second hand.
i am ok being my size, but how amazing would it be to just have a thrifted wardrobe? people take that for granted. 1/2
A Couple of Sandhill Cranes…
at some point in the last 25 years people gave up on reducing plastics. stop buying laundry detergent in plastic jugs.
