We all know that. We all know that the potential ‘cost’ to family life of a lack of meaningful support can’t have a price put on it. The way in which this whole fiasco has been managed is so disrespectful and damaging to families and to providers of adoption support. Beggars belief.

If you factor in the effective loss of the specialist assessment ‘pot’ it’s a 60% reduction. I’d love to know how the government anticipate this will come close to meeting need. Here’s a clue … it won’t come close. Costs rising for providers, FAL slashed - make it make sense. @janetdaby.bsky.social
