at the end its just drawing few lines representing the "motion" you should look @smekbo.bsky.social animation, he got a good examples of how by using less lines its enough to give the sensation of movement. btw apologise for my bad english, hope it explain how i did it.

i started with a simple sketch(left sketch) and draw a simple circle (greenCircles) and used as a guide for subtle movements and for the finger well its mostly hit and miss but its better and easy drawing the finger first than the entire toe because you can change the movement before draw the rest.
