Props to whoever put the word "dead" on the tablet in Primate so that Ben could use it to taunt the survivors. They took one look at a rich white family with a pet chimp and immediately saw where things were going. Incredible foresight.

I feel like Zootopia deserves more credit for basically taking kids by the hand and telling them "Here's what it looks like when you learn you have prejudice. Doesn't make you a bad person, but you need to recognize it. Now here's how to work on it to get better."

Went to see Zootopia 2, and the sound partially cut out right near the climax. Everyone's hopeful voices became muffled and faint, but the music remained. I thought it was a really solid artistic choice to make the struggle seem hopeless and bleak until I realized it was just the sound system.

There are some really great horror films about black history, but I've yet to see a horror movie about the Hawk's Nest tunnel disaster. I feel like that's a huge missed opportunity. It's basically a Lovecraftian nightmare already.
