There are statues of many great debaters in this hall. We're surprised some of the library staff aren't in here after the great biscuit debate of 2022 (shameless plug: www.bmj.com/content/379/...). Aside from the tour, there were some great talks and panel discussions - grateful for the experience!

Our library assistant, Amy, got to go on the annual Library Open Day at the House of Commons this week. While photos were forbidden in many areas, we did get some photos of St Stephen's Hall, where the House of Commons sat until the Chapel was destroyed by the fire of 1834.

Thank you to Sam Hussain for organising this great conference on health inequalities! So much covered - ethnicity, LGBTQ+, deprivation, and more. Looking forward to next year. #UHDBHIC2026
