Choose Your Own Adventure books were a HUGE part of my childhood, eventually leading to a deep obsession with TSR EverQuest single person RPGs

It always startles me when I remember that Hal was Parallax for only a couple of years. In my mind he's the "road to hell/good intentions" big bad that loomed over most of the 90s
Happy Superman Day (a day late)!
My love of Superman began with George Reeves in TV's Adventures of Superman and comics written by Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel, Otto Binder, and Edmond Hamilton (among others) and illustrated by Curt Swan, Wayne Boring, Kurt Schaffenberger, and Al Plastino.
Superman, in my view, represents the best in all of us. It's not his powers that matter—it's his decency, his compassion and, yes, his innate charm. It's as if, back in 1938, our collective unconscious created the hero we needed.
We need him now more than ever.

Happy Superman day, from Superman’s pal Bibbo!
Happy #SupermanDay!
Lois Lane leaning on her desk, coffee in hand, papers flying about while she stands un-phased in the choas.
My variant cover for ACTION COMICS #1100!!!
This is one of my all time favorite covers.
I made it quite a while ago, not sure when it was coming out. I was thrilled and honored when I learned it was going to be released on this landmark issue of Action Comics! Whooo!

Okay this is really cool. Even though I don't have much use for Hal Jordan now, I really enjoyed the early 2010s Green Lantern series, at the time, and it's nice to see Aya in the main continuity
Green Lantern #24 - June 2025
"No. YOU move"
News used to be better
A shoulder bag featuring Superman flying through the sky, giant SFX reading ZAP! at the bottom
The inside of a Superman shoulder bag, logos and SFX covering the front and sides
Hello I would like to tell you about my favorite bag. It's this one! My friend @maconfleetwood.bsky.social and most importantly, there are others for sale! It is the exact perfect size for carrying zines and comics. Almost like he planned it that way! www.etsy.com/listing/4411...
Oh wow! I had those Superman sheets as a kid
Dropping on Saturday...the 2nd Annual It All Comes Back to Superman Superman Day Special!
I talk about Superman #1. A lot of them.
every superhero movie should run with a PSA about how all the cool shit they’re about to see is based on the work of freelancers unsupported by the companies that have exploited their work for decades
Wow! I remember watching Orbots, but I did not remember the animation being that awesome

Between writing Wally's solo title, and using Kyle, Conner, and now Zauriel in Green Lantern, Jeremy Adams is clearly a 90s DC fan after my own heart
This is a fun way to bring back Dan Garrett (the original Blue Beetle) while recycling a name that's gone unused for almost 40 years
Kyle and Conner teaming up makes my 90s heart very happy
Green Lantern #22 - April 2025
I stuck with the original series up until they revealed that he switched bodies with constructs in a space station, and STILL never revealed what he looked like under the helmet, though I still had a fondness for the character
When I was 15 I constantly used to (poorly) draw my own superhero concepts, usually with a full face helmet, a wrist mounted claw, a simple body design, and a "adjective+noun" name. When Darkhawk first debuted I was like "HAS MARVEL BEEN SPYING ON MY DRAWING NOTEBOOK???!!"
Light as a feather
Stiff as a board
Awesome!
Now issue a repaint with the Captain Britain armor
Huh. Well that sounds like a good compromise on paper. I hope it works
I've read rumors that DC is going to de-age Jon back to a kid. I have mixed feelings about that. On one hand, his stories as a kid were more fun (IMO of course), but on the other hand representation matters
Anyway, Superman: Hero For All is really good
The Wilford figure should come as a two pack with a figure of Norris from Carpenter's The Thing
(if you know, you know)
Oh dang!
So now Superman throwing the Eradicator device into the Sun WAS what caused the solar radiation spike that was partly responsible for the Excalibur crew's mutation!
I'm REALLY enjoying the Superman: Hero For All Treasury overall, but my favorite thing might be Hank Henshaw being back in an approximation of the classic/modern Superman suit
