I almost miss dunking on these dopes.
The advisory committee includes the CEO of Nutrien (Canada's biggest agribusiness), the CEO of TC Energy (one of the biggest pipeline companies), the CEO of Teck (a huge mining company) and the CEO of the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters.

Don't miss what the NYT did here to try to spin the VA referendum as an unprincipled move by Dems:
The UCP announced that they're expanding access to mammograms.
But that expanded access is only for women who can afford it.
How do we know?
Smith said so herself.
This is just more of the private for profit self referral for tests enabling a two tiered system.

A MAJOR WIN CALGARY! Today, Calgary secured 64.7M from the federal Housing Accelerator Fund.
I get the funny feeling the Supreme Court is not eager to take up President Trump's appeal in the E. Jean Carroll case. www.supremecourt.gov/search.aspx...
Chart showing 55% of respondents supporting an LNG Terminal on B.C.'s coast, 50% supporting a carbon capture/storage project in Alberta, 52% supporting the Port of Churchill Plus project, 48% supporting a modular nuclear reactor project in Ontario, 61% supporting the high-speed rail project between Ontario and Quebec, and 61% supproting the Wind West project on the Atlantic coast. Results include people who said they were unsure about what they thought of a given project.
Probe Research asked people across Canada what they think of the major projects proposed in different parts of the country and found majority support for most of them.

Oh hey, Premier Danielle Smith and Justice Minister Mickey Amery have an update on the fall referendum for us on Thursday.
Canada is not a supplicant, will not let US dictate terms of USMCA review, says Carney reut.rs/3QFOjS5
This is another one of the differences between Canada and the US: we just don't see that many octogenarian politicians
There aren't even all that many in their 70s
Why are we seeing so much early-onset colorectal cancer?
The correlation with pesticide exposure and its epigenetic signature, adjusted for all known risk factors. (doesn't establish cause and effect)

New Yorkers have known for a long time that going to a game or concert at the Garden meant surrendering some privacy. That, as you watched the show, the Garden in a real sense watched you.
Does this look like democracy to you?
"The majority of [RM of Sherwood's] council members were appointed by the province… only 10 days ago. Monday was their first regular council meeting.
4 of the 7 current councillors do not live in the RM and were not elected by the residents…" #SkPoli #Sask
Danielle Smith is not a conservative, not a libertarian conservative, and not a libertarian populist as she has claimed.
She is something Canada has never seen before.

Data from a new study suggest that illness could account for roughly half of the 1.9% wage gap between first- and second-born siblings. But it’s not the only reason
Wow.
Vivek has blown through $20M—including millions on TV—with nothing to show for it as Ohioans continue to reject his scams.
Now in full panic mode he’s about to burn through a lot more.
We won’t be bought.
Erin O’Toole and Lisa Raitt, huh? Can’t wait to see how Poilievre reacts to this announcement. #cdnpoli

"The Premier only likes petitions that reaffirm her personal bias"
@Lukaszukab.bksy.social is accusing the UCP of delaying his petition review until after a separatist referendum.
He calls it “anti-democratic” after the committee rejected his request to speak.

Cellular skulduggery has previously been seen in bacteria and fungi, which use certain tricks to develop resistance to drugs. New research has found that cancer cells can be equally sneaky
🚨BREAKING!🚨
The UCP have officially voted to ditch the Electoral Boundaries Commission Report to appoint their own commission and draw their own maps!
Gerrymandering is official UCP policy in Alberta!
Contrary to her script, Smith didn't even show up for the vote.
Despite the UCP having a clear and safe majority on their Gerrymandering motion...
"Independent" MLA Scott Sinclair voted to give MLA's the power to choose their own voters and Gerrymander.
Smart money says he won't be independent much longer...

The investment is the latest example of circular financing during the AI boom—the practice of tech companies investing in AI startups to help the latter buy products or services from the original investors.
Nonsensical on SO many levels!
Does this man-child know Washington mandated inoculation that helped win Revolutionary War?
Hegseth says military no longer requires flu vaccination www.scientificamerican.com/article/hegs...
“The War Department is once again restoring freedom to our Joint Force."
Agreed.
It's the democratic equivalent of lead in the drinking water. The longer we wait to remove it, the more lasting the damage will be.
Trump learning how wars work one mistake at a time.
Trump announces he that he is going to extend the ceasefire for an undetermined amount of time, seemingly giving the Islamic Republic as much time as it needs, even though it wasn’t asking for it and the stalemate was due to its unwillingness to move off its non-negotiables.
Is this winning?
