My drawing out of Shonen Jump came a few years later around 2002/2003, but my friends were also not impressed lol (I copied Yu Yu Hakusho instead)

Terrible, awful artwork some 9 year old Filipino kid drew in 4th grade in 1999 of a VERY badly rendered Lass from Pokémon wearing a shirt that says “I love Jigglypuff” while standing next to her inquisitive Jigglypuff partner while another Jigglypuff sings to them.

Better rendered art of Lass from Pokémon with her design being closer to the established canon next to her no longer questioning Jigglypuff drawn by a 35 year old man pondering life and the reason to go on.

It’s def a bummer. At least the Studio Mag “Cuty Haney” doujin shows us what a potential 80s anime adaptation would’ve been like. (Has key frames, storyboards, illustrations, it’s awesome!) some of the material is… questionable (diving into straight up hentai) so maybe that’s where it fell off
