Trying to figure out how all these parts for the valve and pump work, especially the random bit of metal that doesn't seem to connect to anything. Anyone got experience here?

I see now why travel has been so much hassle today, not only is there a sportsball game on, every university hall has a two block long queue outside as they register new arrivals
