The Senate bill is rooted in the idea that we just need to get BP/ICE "back to" only terrorizing people we deem worthy of being terrorized, and not White people. The exact problematic understanding people have been trying to warn against... While a lot of White people insisted that concern was silly

Abolish ICE is not enough.
Stern words for Greg Bovino or Kristi Noem is not enough.
We need prosecutions and trials.
Anything short of this position fails to address the gravity of this moment.
This isn't about "training issues." The murderer who executed Renee Good has been with ICE for 10 years, and according to DHS, the murderer who executed Alex Pretti has been there for 8 years.
These aren't "new recruits," or officers that can be "retrained." ICE can't be reformed. Abolish ICE.
If you are angry, stay angry. They want us to think this is normal and how life will be.
I’ll be dammed if I ever let that happen.
It’s not enough to say Abolish ICE. It’s not enough to vote no on ICE funding. It’s not enough to confront Kristi Noem or Greg Bovino with Stern Words.
If you are a leader, what are you doing to protect your community? How are you using your power, privilege, and position to confront this threat?
Her vehicle's right front panel cleared the ICE agent who didn't open fire until after he was at the side of her vehicle. He used deadly force on a fleeing individual, which is against DHS policy. This is murder. He needs to be arrested.
This day nearly broke me, so I'm reminded:
- They want to break us.
- Things will get worse before they get better.
- They will not break us, and there are a hell of a lot more of us than there are of them.
So on the fuck we go.
A country that blows up foreign fishing boats for no reason is one that will shoot its own citizens for no reason.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but cops are not allowed to shoot people just because you didn't do what they said.
That is called murder when they do that.
Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.
The “prosecute the former regime at every level” candidate has my vote in 2028.
Renee Nicole Good was 37 - A U.S. citizen - and a poet — her wife watched her be murdered and is now a single parent to a 6 year old
This regime has been defined by the endless tragedies it’s caused — we owe it to the victims to fight for the accountability they 💯 percent deserve
A friend in Minneapolis just sent me this video. Looks like thousands have come together for a vigil after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. This was my neighborhood for several years before coming to Portland.
Abolishing ICE is the bare minimum.
We need to dismantle DHS. We need restitution. And we need trials.
I know some might be tired of me repeating this, but it bears mentioning again and again....
Trump is not leaving office.
They are going to go for martial law if it looks likely that the GOP will lose the House.
You just have to listen to them.
One day the White House “ballroom” will be a museum cataloguing this country’s descent into autocracy, including horrors we have yet to see.

The same people who lost their minds over renovations to Cracker Barrel are totally fine with the White House getting bulldozed
The Constitution is not self-enforcing.
The only thing holding our Republic together are our norms.
And the only thing that enforces those norms is The People.
No one is coming to save us.
It's entirely up to us.

You’re pathetic, dude.
ABC’s decision was announced almost immediately after Nexstar... Nexstar is currently seeking approval from Trump’s Federal Communications Commission for a $6.2 billion merger with rival TEGNA.

Not MAGA enough. That’s why Charlie Kirk died. It had nothing to do with the left.
He just didn’t fit in any longer.
People missing an important point about folks getting fired for whatever they said about Charlie Kirk: Americans are being conditioned to be snitches on their fellow citizens who don’t toe a party line on what is “allowed” to be expressed. And employers are going along. It’s the new secret police
