I asked for a reply on what actions my MP is taking to uphold the manifesto commitment to “remove indignities for trans people who deserve recognition and acceptance”.

I sent a paper letter to my Lab MP about my experiences of being harassed in toilets for using “the wrong one” by (presumably cis) women—something which began 10+ yrs ago when I started presenting more androgynously. I argued that the ruling will embolden the bigots, in addition to being unworkable.

I’m surprised this visual approach isn’t more common. I’ve been in so many meetings trying to figure out if a suspicious data point is a call to action or meaningless noise where this kind of thing could have saved so much time.
