My super power is the ability to interact with anyone and leave them with a positive experience.
I understood this more this year when I got an entire group of strangers to dance with us for a bit in day 2 and my approach to our new bit in day 3 ;)
I’m really proud of myself and my team.

Hell ya
Not to mention also pictured Kimihiko Fujisaka who worked on Drakengard and The Last Story.
That was a fun AX.
Sometimes I’ll surprise my girlfriend with cute shit.
I’m a Skims Onyx member now.
Did I just accidentally raise the bar of being a boyfriend?
The Noisy Pixel community is so f’ing rad.
This is all we could hope for from our coverage. People discovering new games and enjoying learning about them.
I’m so stoked.
Really cool to see. Usually the individual “shorts” versions of the interviews do better.
Still. I think people our finding out how unique our energy is and coming for that as it has this secondary effect of easing the nerves and tension of the interview itself, leaving only a fun exchange.
First line and key art do wonders. But also, expectations of PR is insane. To get reach, you need to build relationships. Okay. But now every relationship you built has been laid off to freelancer status. Which makes your job even harder for personalized pitches.
I can go on, but my inbox :(
I honestly did in the past, but last year I’ve been doing better at starting from midnight and just moving down the line of my inbox using the next arrow.
I still miss a lot and I’m overwhelmed beyond my means most of the time. There’s so many daily asks that it can sometimes feel endless.
I wake up to about 100 - 200 emails by 8am PT. By 5pm PT 50 - 100 more will likely come in. That's my personal inbox. The PR alias inbox gets even more.
We don’t have capacity to do much “extra” but an ongoing series I’ve loved on NP is one month later where we do a deep dive post review with more details, sometimes spoilers, and a viewpoint after playing the game without an embargo looming.
Telling you, NP is doing it big this year ;)
Three years ago it was hard getting even 80 views on our PAX content.
Even though it’s our highest quality content, convincing audiences to watch stuff like this isn’t easy in a world so fast.
I love being able to do this, and I love the community we’re building.
Day 1 of our PAX East 2026 coverage is live!
Check out Noisy Pixel's unique approach to dev interviews and see for yourself how we not only connect with the developers, but also the gaming community.
I'm so grateful for this content and the time devs gave to us. Good luck to all their projects!
I reviewed Ground Zero.
It made me remember the feeling of the first time I played resident evil. The frustration, tension, confusion, but still the wonder of what the hell is going to happen next.
Really cool indie classic survival horror you should play.
I didn’t review Tomidochi Life, but I did review my favorite indie game of 2026 so far.
I think it's worth mentioning that, unlike IGN, our content isn't sponsored by the US Air Force.
This is a self-funded company of truly creative people. Your support is greatly appreciated as we do our best to showcase these devs.
We don't charge anyone either. Good luck finding that anywhere else
I've been vegetarian since I was 12.
I often see people share negative comments from their community on socials to maybe get validation from their community? I’m honestly not sure why people do this…
Anyway, this are the comments I typically screenshot.
I'm very lucky to be surrounded by like minded creatives.
We killed PAX East this year. Get excited for our coverage!
That’s the ONLY genre specific page that I made for the reason being we want to document these less covered games. Glad to see you stumbled across it :)
I’m sorry, Cody. Here if you need anyone to talk to.
She said I gotta go to the bathroom, tell me if they play a song I know.
#coachella
I think we should start a movement where we smash the video screens on all gas pumps.
Tbh. We should be saving money at a pump that we sit through an ad for.
I reviewed Rubato.
Very fun.
Right there with you. You do great work, Brad. Sometimes it’s easy for people to see that, but other times you gotta show em. I believe it’ll pay off though. The thankless nature of all this might not, but I assure you someone out there appreciates the work, a dev, gamer, someone :)
PR people can’t be expected to remember/track every bit of content, but I think they could be better at updating their embargoed lists. You’re totally right. It sucks sometimes.
My advice: be annoying. Email them your coverage. Be in their inbox showing your work to create more touch points.
“He was great, he shouldn’t be famous”
That’s what I was thinking the entire time!
No lol
There’s going to be an entire chapter in my memoir about how much Seinfeld I’ve watched.
Noisy Pixel will be at Summer Games Fest. (It’s crazy that we are booking in April, but I appreciate the opportunities!)
We will be bringing our camera team out for on-camera dev interviews. If you want to do any bits, we’re also down to clown.
Let’s get creative. Let’s have fun!
i got to interview some more dope people!
