As we all know, health insurance companies are very stingy with their (OUR!) money. Will they start treating vaccine-refusal like a pre-existing condition? Will they refuse to cover medical care for vaccine-preventable diseases contracted by vaccine refusers?

How are health insurance companies responding to the ever-increasing number of unvaccinated children? At some point in the near future the number of kids (& adults!) hospitalized due to contracting measles (or other preventable diseases) is going to reach critical mass.

The other day, my wife and I had an appointment at one of those corporate buildings with dozens of executive suites. After the appointment, as we walked toward the exit, she needed to use the restroom. So I did what I’ve done a bajillion times: I waited in the hall outside the restroom. It was about 5:30pm so the building was empty-ish. I was the only person in the hall, until I wasn’t. A woman came off the elevator near me, and lucky for her, I am not one of those 62,000,000 men. She could tell because I was wearing my club “good guy” shirt and she had on her “better than the bear” decoder ring. So we high-fived and she left the building feeling completely safe.

My Fitbit sometimes congratulates me on upping my activity level while at the same time only recording 900-some steps for the whole day. Last time I had Covid—& walked no more than 300 steps—it said I was working out too much & to consider taking it easy. I ate a Bomb Pop popsicle & laid back down.
