Also appreciate you sharing your source list, I’m looking forward to finding and reading at least some of them!

Prairie Restoration Project

The Plains Conservation Center in Aurora has a handbook linked from their page for volunteering to help with the Prairie Restoration Project, and I bet they have a bunch of books at their location and would be happy to chat with you too! www.auroragov.org/cms/One.aspx...

This is lovely! Was nice to read a bit about how you went about taking the photos and see a few of them together

Audrey Borrego’s Ombrella (www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib... if you’re cool with Rav links; it’s free) does different shoulder/armscye shaping for front and back, so that helps, but the sleeve cap itself is still symmetrical

I’ve done a bit but also have only seen resources for symmetrical ones as well (and agree, it isn’t ideal). I get better results from seamed ones slightly eased into the shoulder, but I would love to figure out contiguous/modular, from either direction. 🤔

This is true though. I see those words combined and I know I’m about to read a book about somebody being miserable

Worth trying, to maybe collapse whatever this timeline is? Also because something nice would be really appreciated and NASA can’t do it all.

May I offer Cattes, and hope you are getting some okay rest at least!

Yess, absolutely agree!!

It’s a good question! I was hoping someone would know about the style/generation part of it, that’s really interesting.

1 week ago 1 0 1 0

Or even “personal name” as opposed to family name (or clan name, or generation name, and so forth)

Can’t speak to the style question, but for me it’s really annoying when things won’t stay buttoned (which often happens with RTW things because of scanty button placement, which is probably a way to cut costs).. so might as well fix that on something I’m making!

Oh I love this! All the cozy things in the foreground are so great with the cold moonlight, it really gets the feeling of an autumn night 🧡

Ugh, truly.

For real though, Mother Jones or Wired maybe? Or just one of the independent people..

Bank of a creek in the middle of the shot, light pouring through bushes on the side and hemmed in with tall ponderosas on both sides.
Technically the creek is Fall River, but we in Colorado have low standards for what counts as a river.

It's Trans Day of Visibility today. If you're trans and are raising money for something (I don't care what it is), reply to this thread and I will boost you.

If you are a cis person, take a look and find someone to support if you can.

Everyone give this a share after.

Is Rahm Emanuel the imaginary democrat that all the right wing pundits are forever trying to dunk on? Because this is doing their jobs for them.

Also I’ve forgotten his existence multiple times now and I’d be happy to do it again, thanks

Yes absolutely!

I’ve been feeling rough too. I did read a really great book, I’ve found some good playlists, and even though I’m worried about the weather it is still pretty magical to see things start to bloom or leaf out 💚
