I so badly wish people would learn the difference between a speedpaint and a timelapse. Speedpainting is a group of techniques based on impressionism that concept artists use to quickly create designs. Timelapses are recordings of drawings. They are not the same and the names are not interchangeable

A...creature? They were a hyena, but now they're a...thing. Super tall, REALLY lanky, kind of a centaur except instead of hooves, their feet are little points that look like they wouldn't make any noise when they walk. Their back legs are still shorter than their front legs, like a hyena. Their arms are far longer than they should be, and split into two sets of forearms at the elbow.

Every time a creaky door opens in the show, they use the EXACT same sound effect, ace this is throughout the entire series

Do you think The X-Files producers had the foley team repeatedly use several extremely distinct sound effects as an easter egg? Or was it that the show had a (frankly) piss poor budget?

That’s why there’s always a key change during their solos and why the melodies don’t match the rest of the song. Tbh, I think that’s a real shitty way to do it and solos should be written to suit the song, not just crammed in.

My favourite thing about getting a guitar solo from In Flames stuck in your head is that it could come from literally any song, because Bjorn writes them before they start writing songs for the album and then just sticks them into whatever song he feels like they fit into

I mean, kinda both? If I put the pedal assist down to like 12mph, I can still get a good biking workout with it, which also saves battery

It depends on the bike! Mine is actually around 54kg with the battery on it, so pedaling with no power is, uh, difficult at best XD

But there are others that aren't as heavy that aren't meant for speed like mine is, and those are MUCH easier

Hell yeah it is! I just upgraded the pedals to proper mountain bike pedals (for extra shoe grip) and the handlebars to motorcycle bars (for comfort and style) :D

Oh I do too! I repost everything in the evening the day that I post it, the day after in the morning, and then that evening again, and if I'm particularly proud of it, I'll keep that up for a couple days.

And I don’t know if that’s a BlueSky thing, a my art style thing, or the content of my art thing, it could be any of those. It’s generally stuff I’m most proud of too, like the lightning one from a few days ago. That one got almost no interaction at all but it’s one of the best paintings I’ve done.

Ngl, every time I post art these days, I think to myself, “I can’t wait to see how much this gets ignored :D” because at this point my interactions are about the same as they were on twitter when it died
