The manga is published in the same magazine that has The Summer Hikaru Died.

It's apparently very recent, and only two chapters are out so far... I am curious to see where this goes.

Two manga panels. The first one depicts a magical girl talking to a commoner girl, while wearing an unnerving smile: "Everyone can live without any worry, right?". The second panel depicts the commoner girl disturbed as she remembers the same magical girl smiling while covered in blood of her enemies from just recently.

After so many madoka clones where a pure-hearted protagonist is pushed through a bunch of traumatic events and suffering that leave her a crying mess for no other reason than cheap shock value, it's kind of refreshing to see a heroine who just... smiles through all of that. In a very disturbing way.

I have started reading "Isekai Mahou Shoujo Radical☆Haruna" which is exactly what it says on the tin: magical girls + modern isekai.

The start is very generic and OF COURSE it turns dark, but... The protagonist's energy is so wonderfully unnerving, and i LOVE it
