I know this is silly and it’s just more evidence that I’m broken and should shut my mouth, but Rising Lion is a fantastic name for a power metal band and I can’t stop thinking about it.

This is what @wnyc.org and @npr.org need to be saying about the cuts to funding, not just save public radio— the defunding is part of a broader plan. Point to it. Speak up, say it so we know WHY a free press is a danger to authoritarianism. Not why authoritarianism is bad for public radio.
