It was a few years later I realized that it wasn't just news yelling, but that the US was actually bonkers in lots of ways. I'm not going to pretend we're super nice b/c of stuff like the underground railroad (search residential schools), but Jeepers H. Crackers it's been decades of seeing insanity.

I (as a Canuck) was eleven when 9/11 happened, so just getting old enough to to start seeing. When I got into school and my teacher asked if anyone knew what happened, as someone who hadn't heard yet I legitimately thought we as big kids would talk about the news every day.

Despite PC being my main source of gaming for about a decade now, I am still terrible at mouse and keyboard. Like, saw shark comes at me in #DaveTheDiver, and suddenly I don't have a Q key.

It's slightly disturbing that the nurses in #Pokemon "hope to see you again". Like yeah, sure, keep it up with the animal cage fighting.

Whenever I see a #curling tournament, it makes me wish I stayed in. Some friends and I played until we were eleven or twelve, but gave up because the mom in charge of our team was an absolute b-world. Oh well, I'll just keep rolling my bike!

The Japanese skip actually did pretty well until that last end, but even before that she was less on score points mode and more use the hammer not to die mode.
I also didn't realize Einarson hasn't won a worlds, since she absolutely plows the #TournamentOfHearts most years.
