Let's start the new year out right, with an exploded diagram of the mighty Super Nintendo

Coz who doesn't love an exploded diagram?!?

Following someone to get them to follow back, then unfollowing soon after to make your oh so important numbers look good was pathetic on Twitter and it's just as pathetic on here.

If that's what matters to you the most you truly are a vacuous husk of a person

An empty shell devoid of meaning

Do you know what I love?

Video games

Not PlayStation, not Xbox, not Nintendo, not PC, not Steam, not ANY company do I love more than games themselves.

Some people need to remind themselves of what really matters:

Playing

Not to which multinational corporation you give money

RoboCop Vs Terminator

As a kid, this was the movie we all wanted to really happen, as it didn't, this game was a worthy substitution, still a fantastic run n gun/platformer. Was known for being gory but it's the action that makes it.

Not weird mate, I collect for every system I can, tribalism over games is for chumps lol

Thank you, I've been collecting my whole life, never thrown a game away even as a kid, so more like 4 decades of hoarding πŸ˜‚

Yeah I think they've definitely got an appeal outside of the standard 1 on 1 fighter

Soul Calibur 2 and 3

This has always been one of my favourite fighting series, 2 in particular is one of my all time favourites for the genre

Who else loves these games?

Hexen

Running in the Doom engine, Hexen is basically medieval gothic horror Doom, and that's no bad thing.

As much as everyone likes to hate on the Saturn for it's 3D, this port really isn't too bad

Super Game Boy

Of all the accessories for the SNES, the Super Game Boy, giving you the ability to play your Game Boy games on your TV, with no battery life to worry about, and even added colour, is still the coolest of them all

What was your first type of Game Boy?

Which was your favourite?

I got the OG as a kid and will always love it, but my fav is the SP, as it plays all generations of GB games it's all the Game Boy you need.

I love me a helicopter game, unfortunately they aren't so popular now which is a shame.

Below are a just a few examples for the Megadrive, during the 8 and 16bit era there were what seemed like thousands of em

#Halloween

In the same way it's illegal not to say "It's like Silent Hill" when it's foggy, you have to post Nightmare Before Christmas games on Halloween or I'm sure you have broken some ancient by-law, so behold πŸ‘‡

Happy Halloween!

Altered Beast

A Mega Drive launch title and many people's first taste of 16bit, especially as it was a pack in game for a good while. It's not my favourite, but undoubtedly a classic

Sim City

I adore this game, the first Sim City is still hard to beat today, just the right balance of simulation, management and fun destruction, it even works well enough using a controller instead of a mouse (It is annoying the SNES mouse isn't supported thoπŸ˜…)

Sega Game Gear

Any love for Sega's only dedicated handheld?
(Yes nomad blah blah blah but that played mega drive games so doesn't count)

It was eclipsed by the game boy but still had some excellent games and impressive graphics for the time

Hey all, So for now, I'll just be duplicating what I do on X here, with sharing gaming content, until X finally falls apart then it will take over if needed
