I've been playing games arcade and console since 1985 and to this day I've yet to care about framerate and max resolution. I've been perfectly happy with 4K/30 as my standard is always film which is 24fps classically. A lot of this frame talk turns me off of game dialogue/ writing.

If they have a big subscriber or view count the money comes from YouTube ad payouts. While not everyone can do it at that size a lot more people can go into a comic store and buy an "old" comic. Its a lot more entertaining to watch as a viewer.
