Took a break from designing my game last night to work on my new Avatar MTG deck, and I’ve gotta say, it’s shaping up quite nicely 😉

Does adding abilities like this lessen the skill-based nature of a game, or does it add flavour and variety to character creation and aid in creating a variety of different playstyles?

Through character creation, players get a mechanical buff tied to their race, an ability tied to their “upbringing” and another ability based on their job…

Just a little sneak peek, for all the pokemon fans out there--just started work designing a poster series based on the world maps from each region
Very excited to make some progress on this one!!

Just had a night of Pokemon TCG Pocket with the boys, and consistently the one thing that sticks out to me the most is how much nicer the card design looks today compared to 15 years ago. The yellow border is gone in favour of grey/silver, the type is cleaner and the overall layout is super readable
