Pizza I’ve learned to enjoy very occasionally without cheese. But mostly they are dry and boring. Not having Chile Relleno has been the biggest gut punch. It’s how I rated new to me Mexican restaurants. It’s not a bad allergy like peanuts or celiac. I just get bloated and almost instant heartburn.

You’d have to understand the pain and denial around pizza when you develop a mid life dairy allergy. This bad boy was a revelation. I don’t fuqwit dairy free cheese in general. So the crust, sauce and toppings carry all the weight!
