Whether battery should be the most important thing is another matter. For me the racing is actually kind of boring as (rightly or wrongly) it feels like it’s removed the skill of overtaking. It’s just about pressing your button at the time your opponent can’t press theirs.

Battery is now the most important thing but we don’t get much insight into what’s happening with it. BTCC in its (now ended) hybrid era had lights on the cars, symbols in the TV graphics to show when was being used, capacity left etc. F1 is not giving viewers the same info is it?

Kid at school claimed his dad played bass in Police. This was easily disproved. His dad was not Sting.

I think it’s more than that. This is this era’s “I was only following orders”. He knows what he thinks DEI is. But he also knows revealing his definition of it will be self-incriminating.

So annoying when you go to all the trouble of applying, interviewing etc and they’re just following process because there was an internal candidate the whole time

Why has Donald Trump bombed Iran and where is it?

I know budget cuts are bad at the BBC but fuck do we have to write the news ourselves now?

Starmer speaks with Trump after president criticises lack of UK support for Iran strikes Leaders discuss military cooperation day after US president hit out at PM over lack of immediate backing for attacks

I get why Starmer can’t just shrug the whole nonsense off as deranged ramblings of a syphillitic dementia sufferer but I don’t think there’s headlines about Macron etc crawling to try and repair things after making a very logical decision to not get involved www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

All night long you say?

Sad news of Robert Duvall. Some classic roles, but also he was just good in everything he was in.
