For over a decade I've been wondering what this freaking font is, because I kept constantly seeing it in Japanese gaming media from the 80s and 90s. It wasn't until in recent years when I discovered that the font is called Tankoin AL-KL (淡古印 AL-KL) and it was made by Shaken (写研) in 1979.

Having received so much love for our good old #MoonChild game, we are happy to give love back to the game community by releasing the Moon Child source files + assets.

remebered i have a donkey kong pfp so, my 2 cents: dkc is good platforming with abysmal screen space. feels like a game boy platformer on a big screen and they had 0 shame abt it, sprinkling in offscreen jumps in the final areas. probably the only part of the game worth hating
