After his resurrection, Jesus told the disciples that he had a mission for them; to take the good news of who and what he was to every corner of the earth. But he told them to do nothing until the Holy Spirit had come to them, when they too would be anointed with power to heal and to save.

Never acceptable to attack health care workers and ambulances.
Years ago campaigning for Amnesty International for a prisoner behind the iron curtain held for his religion. Had the man been Christian I would have have found it easy to recruit letter writers from local churches but he was a Jehovah's Witness! The question to Jesus is still "who is my neighbour?"
Teal graphic with a subtle repeating pattern. White text displays a quote: “At its core, mediation creates a safe and structured space for conversation. Mediation isn’t about proving who’s right or wrong. It’s about helping people be heard and understood.” Below the quote, smaller white text reads: “Read our latest blog on ‘Why Mediation Matters’ on SCCR’s website.”
New SCCR blog: Why Mediation Matters.
Conflict is inevitable, but how we handle it can strengthen relationships rather than damage them. This piece explores why mediation creates space for understanding and better outcomes.

"The desecration of the statue is far less significant and abhorrent than attacks on churches orchestrated by the Israeli state through its military and settler militias. Gaza’s three churches were targeted during Israel’s genocidal rampage. In July settlers tried to torch the Church of St George"

These prehistoric temples date back over 5,000 years, making them older than the pyramids, and they’re perfectly aligned with the sun during solstices and equinoxes.
The #pars are back on league business this evening in the postponed match against St Johnstone. If the saints win then they are champions and get promoted to the premier league. So a huge crowd from Perth expected that will generate a fantastic atmosphere.
"the failure of global leadership to renew arms-control agreements or pursue disarmament is reckless in the extreme. cyber warfare, autonomous systems, hypersonic weapons — only magnify the danger. no nation can win a nuclear war, and no leader has the moral right to gamble with humanity’s survival"

Still buzzing this morning after the #pars getting to the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden - now waiting to see if we will be playing St Mirren or Celtic in the final.
“We knew we had a chance, but to go and do it in the way we did it, going to penalties, hitting the bar at the end – yeah, just crazy”

A little tiny Island called Iona, stole a little bit of my heart today 💜
After being battered with wind & rain all night & driving to Fionnphort, blue skies magically appeared 3 miles from ferry port. I took that as a sign & was not disappointed xx
A year ago the #pars were in danger of relegation to the third tier of Scottish Football. Now under Neil Lennon, we will be in the play offs for promotion to the premier league and we have enjoyed this incredible cup run beating Hibs, Aberdeen and now Falkirk to reach the Scottish Cup Final in May.

“MAGA has tried to recruit God as a representative of their movement - saying Donald Trump is a latter-day Jesus”
As MAGA continue to present as the party of God, is it any surprise the Pope felt the need to speak up?

Off with my son and grandson on Saturday to the Scottish cup semi final with the #pars playing Falkirk. Falkirk are deservedly favourites but Neil Lennon has done his best to prepare our team as far as possible with the players unavailable through injury.

Will keep happening until the governments create legal safe accessible routes that would destroy overnight the evil people smugglers business.
