Quite the question alright.

For clarity: these are two separate areas within the same facility.
Correct, one’s for reusing bikes, the other is a metal recycling container. 20 metres apart.
Ireland, 2026.
These two photos were taken yesterday at the same location - Ballyogan recycling centre- within 20 metres of one another.
💯
Lots of farmland in Ireland, millions of hectares used for low-productivity grass growing to feed animals. Not nearly enough horticulture or solar farms.
It’s all about priorities.
Absolutely. This misinformation is so pervasive yet so easy to debunk.
A more accurate headline might read: 'Broccoli farmer has his facts wrong on solar energy & land use'.
For Ireland to hit its target of 8GW of solar power would require 0.25% of farmland.
Somehow the remaining 99.75% isn't adequate to maintain food supply...?

Impressive logic, Elon.
💯
Share your concerns; I just wanted to illustrate the point about how EV technology is now genuinely mature, and this was a good example.
Are you kidding? There are literally millions of EVs on the roads right now.
Good choice, though parking may be an issue.
I bet a bike would have been even faster!
👏 👏
Perfection!
Bliss. Can only dream of such a day of reckoning in the USSA.
Agreed, but since it does, it’s better to be electric
If a 600-ton excavator can be converted from diesel to electric, pretty much anything can.
And thanks to Dementia Don and the oil crooks pulling his strings, the world is now - finally - scrambling to break decisively with fossil fuels.

Gorgeous!
👏
“…Irreversible for hundreds to thousands of years”
“Irreversible”.
This is infinitely more consequential than Trump, oil prices, Hormuz etc. yet we continue to ignore it.
Nooooooo waaaaay
Of course. It’s all these monsters have. And “blood libel” too, another standard smear.
Evil, psychotic regime & terrorist “army”, both hugely popular, don’t forget, with its bloodthirsty population.
In June 1982, Israel invaded Lebanon, butchering 25,000 people, mostly civilians, bombing 13 hospitals.
Ronald Dahl wrote about it in 1983, condemning Israel’s Nazi tactics & racist savagery.
43 years later, the slaughter is being ramped up, the terrorists emboldened by US-backed impunity.
OMFG, Labour coming to resemble a crack suicide squad, hell bent on self-immolation.
Clearing out the files and came across these two consecutive issues of The Economist from almost exactly 14 years ago.
Putin’s end must be a very long drawn out affair indeed; meanwhile, the USSA and Israel - ever dreaming of bringing peace through bombing enemies into the dust.
Hope so. A lot of emergency vehicles at the pier this afternoon.
