A3: Opportunities. For students to see learning as more than something to fill their brains. To allow students time to wrestle with ideas in a way that is not measured. #EduSkyAU

A2. Deep learning without play is like trying to breathe with half a lung. You might survive, but you won’t thrive. Play is the rehearsal room of creativity—it’s how we prototype understanding. Strip it away, and we flatten curiosity into compliance. #EduSkyAU

Yes. Constraints are the fuel of creativity and innovation. Resources are finite. #EduSkyAU

A5. Probably not enough of a voice in overall design. They didn’t like the stools we originally put into Food Tech. Got better seats based on that feedback! #EduSkyAU

A5. Students shape the space with me. Whether it’s rearranging tables or choosing what goes on the walls, their voice is central. Design becomes a mirror of the community we’re building—relational, respectful, and regenerative. #EduSkyAU

Safety. It’s all we are thinking. And there’s some pretty hi tech equipment in there! #EduSkyAU

The hardest thing in the Design & Tech space is getting the initial setup prepared for safety, flow and storage. #EduSkyAU

A4 b: Our biggest issue is classroom space. So many classes that are general purpose are not good for us. And any furniture movement is okay, but don’t dare leave it moved. Or face the email wrath. #EduSkyAU

A4: not much. Everything is pretty much fixed. We can move benches for specific events but for the most part, ovens and cooktops don’t move. In our engineering rooms, pretty much the same. #EduSkyAU

Flexibility is key. Particularly if rooms are used for multiple purposes. Our Year 7 project in Sem 2 Dig Innovation is to redesign learning spaces. Can’t wait to see what they do. #EduSkyAU
