#GoodMorning, Skylarks
All the day long-
yet not long enough
for the skylark,
singing, singing.

Much of our "love work" usually needs to be done before we start a romantic relationship. The work is to develop an open and brave heart, where we meet our fears. Romanticizing might overshadow this work, leaving our fears dormant. Fear wants to calculate, control, seek power...
That's not love.
So very true.
My good friend Freddie Longlegs.
My thoughts make me believe that they always play on the same team as me – also against the thoughts themselves. It's the most cunning of my mind’s delusions, because thoughts don't wish to find answers which undermine themselves in areas of life where they have exaggerated their own significance.
This is the planet we're living on.

THERE are no clear solutions to existential questions. The answers we find are conditioned by our personality, culture and species. Often our answers are what we want to hear regarding the questions we need to ask. We find the answers we are longing for.

Really nice photo.
Nice photo. But the main person in the frame looks a bit robotic :)
To create a god is no more difficult than to hope and to think some thoughts.
And to say anything specific about the hereafter, is to make oneself great whilst making the hereafter small.
Is not our gods suspiciously human when they divide and judge?
I no longer believe a creative person is one who writes or paints.
A creative person is someone who is able to increase the joy of their body and mind. This generates positive spin-offs.
I've met quite many artistic people who don't seem to be creative.
MY ego is like a balloon with tiny holes in it. When I blow up the balloon, it becomes slightly larger for a moment, before shrinking once again.
What I am left with is increasing breathlessness.
IT seems clear that I cannot bring forth anything that is not in me. Neither can I give myself or others what I do not have. I can only try to give myself and others what I am. If I try to give something else, then the falseness shines through.
Nice.
😍
Nice :)
"I live peacefully in a grass hut,
Listening to the birds for music.
Clouds are my best neighbors.
Below, a pure spring where I refresh body and mind;
Above, towering pines and oaks that provide shade and brushwood.
Free, so free, day after day—
I never want to leave!"

Yes, a way of being. Words are abstractions (mind-images) conditioned by culture, individuality and biology. The view of the world gets filtered and distorted. To understand our personal image-production, let the little mind rest for a while, and Reality might shine clearer as it is. :)
That's it.
Lovely.
True and well said.😀
"If your mind is empty, it is always ready for anything; it is open to everything.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities; in the expert’s mind there are few."
Shunryu Suzuki - "Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind"
In learning - every day something is added.
In Tao - every day something is dropped.
Why does our little self - our ego - analyse itself?
To be wiser?
Is it the ego that's wise?
