Been hoping for a new Maustetytöt song for a while now and this doesn't disappoint. Extra special bonus marks for having a word with FIVE umlauts in the title (pärjääkään).

A brutalist concrete multi-storey car park photographed on a sunny day, with the pink blossoom-festooned branches of a tree above. The sky is bright blue with a large white cloud.

Yep, we had it in Swaffham. We had the luxury of being allowed to choose which colour custard we wanted: pink, brown or yellow.
Will someone please just nut that mad cunt.
This song with the original video is possibly the most melancholy combination of music and video ever made. It's less than 3 minutes long but every time I watch it, it stays in my head for days afterwards www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vgc...
TUNE!

Glad to have been of service
A shag (type of bird) sitting on rocks at Plymouth seafront. The bird is about 40cm tall, black with a splash of very bright yellow around its beak, and a little tuft of hair sticking up on top of its head.
I do like a Shag on the rocks on a Wednesday lunchtime.

Starmer's response: dithering and prevaricating for months and months until it's too late, we all pay the price, and everyone is even more exasperated with him.
A black and white photograph of a woman silhouetted against a dramatic sky. She has a rucksack no her back, a camera on a strap, wears a long skirt and hiking boots. Sunbeams shine down from darker clouds.

Love my Ricoh GRiii. It's ridiculously small and ridiculously good. Love my X-E5 too with 23 or 27 lens, but it's the Ricoh that's in my pocket every time I leave the house.
My Coil? Mortal.
Good news - High Court rules parts of Dartmoor have been mismanaged!
Overgrazing has been damaging protected sites on Dartmoor.

I'm really looking forward to that one - saving it for when I can completely absorb myself in it without distractions.
I couldn't agree more

A headline from The Guardian reading "Mandelson documents raise questions about Starmer's decision-making"
Very disappointing given that up until then he had a flawless record of never making any dubious decisions whatsoever.
Just heard this track by Madra Salach on 6music and had to immediately stop what I was doing and give it my undivided attention

Everyone that is except the people who have the power to make the required political decisions
Nice. We had fog forecast here this morning but in the end it turned out to be a very disappointing light mist.
Not sure you need to go to another galaxy to find people who appear to be revelling in it :(
And to absolutely nobody's surprise here's Tony Blair popping up to give his unwanted opinion. He's like a turd that just won't flush.
This looks wonderful - couldn't resist ordering a copy even though I'm not supposed to be buying any more photobooks...
Went for a relaxing lie down on the sofa. Watched an in-depth video explaining why WW3 is now under way. I think I may need to work on my relaxation techniques.
Cross country running was the only sport I enjoyed, and much to my surprise I was quite good at it. Viscerally hated all the team sports and of course the teacher who made us do them.
Someone thought I was my brother's dad at his wedding last summer 😟
Like everyone else, I'm telling you to watch Rosalía's BRIT Awards performance

Yeah I'm quite happy doing a lot of solo trespassing, but it was great and very inspiring to have strength in numbers

Today 25 of us went trespassing along the River Dart near Buckfast. In just 5km we walked through woodlands and along riverbanks owned by 4 different landowners who don't want the public on their land (including the monks at Buckfast Abbey). It's time for a right to roam! @righttoroam.bsky.social
Went on a Right to Roam trespass along the River Dart near Buckfast with about 25 other people. It was great, really inspiring. And beautiful warm(!) and sunny(!!) weather.
