Jump to 50 seconds in and listen to the music they use.

Happy birthday to Jack Nicholson, BOTD in 1937.
Thought I'd done more of his films for Late Reviewer, but this was one of the first rewatches for the site and while I don't write like this anymore, it's interesting to look back.
That last paragraph...
This is extraordinary www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMOY...
Forget it Jake, it's...
He'd be a great guest and loves Columbo - maybe it's time to revive Columpod?
Was thinking about it last night and realised that as a self-funded passion project that's sweet, fun, rewatchable and not at all smug, Rocker 'Brella Fella is basically the anti-Megalopolis.
It's a genuinely sweet, good-hearted tribute to those Elvis films. It was fascinating, funny and I'm glad it exists. Songs are decent too.
Saw it with @johnfeath.bsky.social a few weeks ago, complete with a Tim Vine Q&A. Delighted to announce he's exactly as lovely as you'd imagine him to be.
For sale: Batman #497, broken spine.
Just cancelled today's leave and been out for a 3 mile run before work - a run my smart watch called "unproductive".
How's your Wednesday going so far?
Really enjoyed this when I revisited it a while back, and yeah, McQueen's too old to be playing a teenager, but it's still great fun...
Amazing, and a million times better than the cheaper, self-assembly IKEA Bŏ-gărt.
Did a virtual watch-a-long of Witness with @johnfeath.bsky.social during lockdown and pointed out that considering McGillis's character's surname, technically Harrison Ford got a Lapp Dance in the barn.
Gag went down about as well as you'd imagine...
This is a great, thoughtful piece by Alex.
Lately, I've been guilty of taking the easiest option via streaming over going to the cinema or putting in a disc (the point of my bloody blog).
Solid argument in here to change that.
As always, I'm woken up on Easter morning by my stupid little brain playing this on repeat.
Would've been Heath Ledger's 47th birthday today. Not enough people* have seen this.
*literally only one person I know in real life.
Just read about the Broadway show, really should watch the film again.
This was one of the first Late Reviewer features submitted by a friend of the site, and also makes me want to rewatch the film.
I KNOW I've seen this, but I cannot for the life of me remember a single thing about it bar that cover.
Princess Anne meeting the King’s Royal Hussars at Salisbury Plain, wearing a camouflage jacket, scarf and shades
Christopher Walken in Plots with a View aka Undertaking Betty (2002) wearing a beige jacket, scarf, shades and smoking a cigar
Princess Anne continues to merge with the Christopher Walken meme
A pencil sketch of Han Solo with the head of a cartoon pig: Ham Solo.
Ham Solo.
I watched the Springsteen biopic this week, and the 'everything will be better if we just bend completely to the will of the artist' spirit of it weirdly reminded me of this...
Don't forget folks, 🕐️ the clocks go forward 1 hour at 1am for the start of British summertime #RememberClocksGoForward
Nathan Fillion's birthday today. Always a fun watch, and the extras on this disc give great recipes for fake blood which have been handy at Halloween since 2006.
LOVED this. First time seeing both the L&H short and Buster's masterpiece.
Long live the @oldwoollen.bsky.social, one of my favourite venues!
