He's always been erratic to be fair.

He needs to up his game if he stays. He's been terrible too often this season. I hope the club haven't given in to his salary demands because he hasn't earned it IMO.
What just happened? Keeper there 😳
He's class that lad.
Definitely Jones.
What a game to make your league debut!. He did well. Very composed, especially when he got a little too close to Virg and had to do the cheeky little header.
Goals from 2 of our stalwarts today. They've given us some bloody good memories those 2 lads. Robbo too. Gonna miss Mo and Andy 😢
Poor kid. He's had so much bad luck with injuries.
Let's hope we don't have to defend any corners or free kicks as we have taken all our height off and put on 3 midgets.
Does any other team pass back to the keeper as often as we do? Poor Ali has suffered from stretching for some poor back passes in his time which doesn't help him.
Credit where it's due. Great ball from Gakpo.
I bloody love that man 👑
Same. I think we're just so used to it now.
I was looking at the stats last night. Slot's LFC won the league with 84 points, 10 ahead of second, so you could argue the best of a bad bunch. Klopp won the league with 99 points and was a runner up with 97 points. Massive difference. Klopp came up against City in their prime.
Or 2 in 5.
I'd take him, he'd be a good addition to the squad. Excellent on the ball and reads the game well. I was sad when we let him go and I think he would be a sound acquisition.
LFC have made a few bizarre decisions this season unfortunately 😕
I don't see many players being keen on joining Liverpool while Slot's in charge.
I want City to win the league. There are hardly any City fans around to gloat and Arsenal fans are already insufferable and they've won nothing.
You make your own luck. We sold Quansah and saw no urgency in getting Guehi in. Then that deal collapsed because we finally bid too late in the window for Palace to get in a replacement. Appalling transfer strategy from Edwards and Hughes. I really don't see things improving if they all stay.
Leoni could be, but he may also not be. It is very short sighted if the club to sell so many of our academy products. The result if the Quansah sale is Konate hasn't been pushed. He has been allowed to be poor and still play. We also have little depth in any position.
Don't forget Bradley and Endo.
We sold Quansah and Morton purely for PSR reasons. Cost us nothing, so it's all profit. Quansah came through the ranks and was the future rock at the back with right management. Why get rid of him and buy a raw 18yo as a direct replacement,it's madness. Left us stuck with no real options at CB.
If Quansah had stayed we would have likely sold Gomez and still signed Leoni. Konate has been awful this season, so yes Quansah would have been in there IMO.
I don't think he played a competitive game for us and I remember him mainly from his time at Arsenal. This is very sad. Sympathies to his family and also to the train crew and their families. Difficult time for all involved.
Quansah would walk in to our team this season. We have bought young players, but inflated fees. What I meant was that we would sign potential. Firmino was 29m, Couthino was signed for 8.5m, Robbo for 8m. Young players with potential for circa 20/30m should be the aim. We just get fleeced now.
Frimpong is home grown I think as well as he was a city youth player. How many do we need?
I think Newcastle will want closer to $90m. I wouldn't mind him for the right price. Liverpool used to sign young players and develop them. Maybe we need to go back to that model. What irks me is we sold all Klopps young players so we could maximise profit. Morton and Quansah should have stayed
We need some more home grown players, particularly if Jones and Gomez are let go. I dont mind Gordon but Newcastle will try and fleece us I reckon. Also like Alex Scott and Adam Wharton.
The price won't be right though. They'll be the English tax which will mean Newcastle will ask 90-100m and he's not worth that.
