Fully agree, but this has happened to virtually every paper I reviewed and was part of the author team of across different journals. Nearly everything gets sent out to the reviewers again. No surprise journals struggle to find reviewers.
We have one manuscript in re-review with GCA, and I am re-reviewing another right now. Both mantle geochemistry, and very much along the lines of what GCA published in previous years.

Yeah, no. What we have right now is glorified autocorrect. Glorified autocorrect that takes the energy of an entire city to do what it does, plus half of Lake Erie to cool down while it's doing it.
