The ability to take a picture of a random piece of farm equipment and say “what is this” was genuinely helpful.

There are lots of reasons that people living in cities have access to more culture and art, but one that is overlooked is that horror movies simply are not an option when you live in a small grove of trees surrounded by prairie and old farm houses.

Inside Llewyn Davis is the worst movie because now every music movie feels unrealistic.

I just watched, and mostly liked, “Wild Rose” but felt like the ending was unsatisfying.

But before that I watched “Walk the Line.” And was like “yeah right, that’s unrealistic.”

I’ve used backmarket to get used tech and have had good experiences.

It was complicated enough that it had room for people to explore the parts of themselves that they needed to explore or come to terms with.

I was crying the other day listening to Waitsgiving for the one millionth time. That album is so perfect and magical and powerful.

Next time one of my favorite artists releases an album, I am going to put effort into hearing it on vinyl before I hear it anywhere else.

I’ve found that this is a very special way for me to build a relationship with music from past decades, but I have never made it happen with a current favorite.
