Im constantly trying to improve my quality of life… being an artist is tiring because it’s not the easiest path to follow in a capitalist world, and I’ve been lucky enough to live doing what I love (even though again, it’s been a lot of work) because I’ve seen a lot of my fellow artists struggling
I’ve been involved in the educational, entertainment, cultural, corporate, entertainment world as well… and it’s just that there is this immense force within myself that can’t conceive life without making art, but also in order to keep doing it, I need to make money, and as any other human being
Being an artist, in this contemporary world, is so insanely tiring for most of us… At some point of my life I found myself working on multiple art projects, as an artist but also as curator, writer, model, while also having a 9 to 5 job as an art coordinator
I had the pleasure of meeting with Refugio Orquídea, an assistance house for LGBTQ+ people in SLP, for a Queer art project I’m currently working on. Thank you so much ❤️
