It's ironic because by going "wowow we can make it rude!" they're creating exactly the kind of forbidden cartoons that kids love to watch, I know I did! But it's a bit of a shame because they're so many more interesting directions you could take adult animation.

Another even more traditional channel for animation are festivals. Many festivals don't even charge you for submissions, and you can find them easily on FilmFreeway for example. But yeah the internet is in pretty bad shape, Newgrounds being the exception, and who knows, maybe this place. :)

I totally agree with you! But many European countries and Canada do actually still have public funding for weird shit like this haha. The US is kind of unique in that it has practically zero public funding for animation and animation festivals.
