The quiet lull before another "wind event." I am allowing myself to do something other than watch the news. I feel guilty. That may not make sense to many people. When you are seeing your friend's homes burn or lively hoods being threatened, it's hard to allow yourself to feel "normal."
LA folks, did anyone hear that crazy thunder or explosion maybe around 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. this morning? I didn't hear anything about it but it was definitely loud enough to wake me up. Was it just thunder?
