Is a 42 year old man deciding to learn to ride a #motorcycle a #midlife crisis?

No. It's me finally choosing myself. It's me deciding that I deserve to be happy.

That's a scary thought, huh? The idea that you might deserve a little #happiness? Fun? #Adventure?

I say do it. Be brave.

It’s finally happened. After 18 months. Finally, a media merger you can root for.

The Infowars news is funny, yes. But more importantly, it is an outright rebuke of Alex Jones' evil.

It's testament to the strength and resilience of the Sandy Hook families who survived this bullshit for more than a decade as well as the Onion, which didn't give up on this for the last 18 months.

Today I turn 89. I’ve seen this country at its best and its worst, and I know how much community matters. For my birthday, I’m asking you to stand with PFLAG and support the work that’s helped so many in the LGBTQ+ community, including me. give.pflag.org/page/95493/d...

Incidentally, Lee Van Cleef is one of the bad guys. He is best known as a star of spaghetti Westerns, holding starring roles in the Sergio Leone-directed films For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966).

The Qiantang river's tidal bore is the world's largest and most powerful of its kind. Sometimes two tides meet together forming a shape like a cross, that can become even more captivating at sunset.

The crucial thing to understand about Peter Thiel is that he adores "The Lord of the Rings" and no one in human history has ever so utterly completely missed all the salient points of what a book is about.

This painting, titled "L'escalier" (The Staircase), was created by French painter Marc Chalmé, known for his mastery of shadow and light, often compared to Vermeer. His work captures "still light" in landscapes, still lifes, and scenes like this.

So, had to say goodbye to a friend here in LA for over a decade on Wednesday. She has had a number of health issues for years and it was time, but still obviously incredibly sad.

What broke me was that she was allowed to have her cat brought to her in the hospital, and he just laid next to her.

I put this cheap generic/universal Amazon flyscreen on the ol' CB750 today. Had to dremel out the mounting holes on the brackets that came with it because the headlight bolts on the CB are massive, lol.

GARY OLDMAN as Cary Grant from ‘North By Northwest’ for a photo project whereby Actors posed for a role they always dreamt of playing.

(It had to be self-deprecating, ironic, absurd, a bit twisted and kind of like a funny/bad dream take on the movie.)

Love it.

BREAKING: New data shows ZERO oil tankers passed through the Strait of Hormuz today, signaling what appears to be a complete shutdown of the Strait for the first time in history.

The Strait normally carries about 20% of the world’s oil supply.

A large white waterfowl with orange feet stands in front of a door. On the door is a cardboard sign secured with tape that reads, "DO NOT LET THE DUCK IN."

Adding insult to injury, I think the duck might be a goose.
