It’s not that those people don’t see Trump’s behaviour - it’s that those people see his behaviour as “strong” and “commanding”, something to be admired.
This is not a failure of vision. It is a failures of values.

Yes! You may be particularly interested in his An Autobiography of Trauma - there’s chapter about his views on psychedelics and the part they played in his life. I found that fascinating as he’s much more conservative about them than other trauma figures e.g. Bessel van der Kolk and Gabor Mate
