not the word i would expect after "droqen tried to kill" but a multibillion-dollar deal between large corporations is kind of like gameplay ๐ช
anyway i'm not sure who this will be of interest to, i found it to be a fascinating journey. i, uh, i just like doing things! even if they do 0 damage

whoa hi
if you can get to Costa de Caparica in the next four days and want to meet some cute kids and cool adults lmk :D
genuinely delightful to be in a country where they know how to count (portugal)
i've been hanging out with a 7 year old and she kept pestering me to ask her questions, so eventually we ended up at "what happens after you die?"
she got a little bit serious and said "Well, you just stay where you're put."
i'm a fully committed puff defender... but even i have to admit puff-puff is pretty unbearable. it's quite high skill and has plenty going on and if there were a special rule that a single game counts as a bo3 it would be fine, but. oof.
your text really made it sound like Gorey said that, which would have quite surprised me!
like, in the 'daily routine' sense, or in the 'category theory' sense?
This is structurally identical to a Da Share Z0ne post
the last bit didn't quite fit
for anyone sad that the embedded tweets are dead, you can read them in only somewhat mangled from here on the internet archive: web.archive.org/web/20150226...
however you have to click "stop" at the right moment so i also screenshotted them. this is NOT a replacement for reading the article!!!
it's so annoying because taking the "right" path doesn't feel like /doing/ anything, and doesn't fix any of the problems. but it does open the door to imagining other ways forward that eventually can.
anyway i'm really sorry things are so painful and i hope you can separate own worth from the pain.
these are, annoyingly, all excellent reasons to be kind to yourself. helplessness in the face of overwhelming horror often leads to lashing out at oneself because it's the only way to have control.. it feels like doing at least /some/ kind of justice, but it offers only very temporary solace.
Hokay, so,

oh how i love wikipedia :) the freedom to indulge in pedantry to your heart's content with no chance of irritating others :) and such interesting articles!

new TMBG album "The World Is To Dig" continues a mild upward trend after their (imo) very weak 2010s. my favorite track is Get Down, and i'm especially impressed by their bold choices in the music video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TqU...
i was fully nodding along with this thread until this point. i thought this one stood out for being full of fun noises, and i think the lyric is kinda nice. i can agree that the vocal delivery is unremarkable though.
I'm in a feminist science fiction book club, once a month. we recently had our 10-year anniversary party :)
The Calvin's dad explaining records meme. He is explaining that the two kinds of meme are Calvin's dad and Loss. Despite being a meme about Calvin's dad, this one is Loss.
I did a speedrun of Glass Joe on the newly discovered prototype of Punch Out! It doesn't play any audio though, so I ended up doing a complete restoration of the audio using very advanced tech.
Please hear the tech you won't regret the tech.

Nothing makes me feel more like an alien than other writers giving advice to read your work out loud "at least once." Once? Just once? Not 50+ times? Just the one time then? And the alternative is zero times? For real?
like two blocks each way, maybe

referring to "the damnable subtleties of shifgrethor" and hoping that the audience understands i'm borrowing genly's point of view and not preaching my own
oh, true enough, but there's the same ambiguity with "could add mana". if you evaluate that before mode choices, it would imply that you can pump your guy during the process of casting a spell, so it can't be killed in response.
not my preferred reading, but it does seems unclear from the text.
you could possibly argue it still doesn't work, depending on your interpretation of "require" as it applies to modal abilities
i think the issue was with one mode being a mana ability and the others not. this could create some ambiguity about when you're allowed to activate it. it looks to me like the CR right now does kinda support it, but there continue to be no activated modal abilities where one of the modes adds mana.
