The SCDP recognizes the vital work of public health professionals in protecting communities and strengthening preparedness against emerging infectious diseases. Together, we advance prevention, response, and health equity for all!
✍ A new initiative has kicked off in the DOM: the inaugural Emory Internal Medicine Writers' Workshop, led by Dr. Emily Pinto Taylor and Dr. Kimberly Manning. Supported and funded by an EmWell mini-grant, this full-day writing intensive brought together 8 learners across our residency programs.
Congrats to Luis Nieto, MD, Gastroenterology & Hepatology Fellow, on his recent publication! His research focuses on the intersection between metabolic disease, obesity, and gastrointestinal disorders, with a particular interest in the effects of incretin-based therapies. 🔗 linktr.ee/emorydeptofmed
