I've gone through it a few times* and it's clear the two design goals were "comply with the law" and "placate conservatives."
*(I've only done "Active Shooter" more times, because this is America and this company has had at least two shooter incidents since I started... one the next town over!)
My company's inclusivity training is so toothless that, despite giving examples it calls "potentially insensitive" (one is straight up racist and another is transphobic), it refuses to explicitly state what statement was wrong, why it was wrong, and why it matters to us all that it's not tolerated.
I'm not seeing stuff about contacting payment processors on my timeline.
If we stop now they will take the lesson that they can do all the censorship they want and within a month people will just calm down and accept it.
We have to keep going.

I honestly think the majority of cis people are upset by trans existence, especially nonbinary existence, because as children we were all told there were things we weren't allowed to do or be or feel or say because we were a girl, or because we were a boy.

We asked people to give a damn about others and treat them as equally complicated and important beings instead of NPCs that exist to pad out the story of your life, and quite a few people who have their self-worth tied to a genuine belief in the latter openly revolted at the concept.
