but also while i'm trying to pull myself out of mental and creative burnout i also know it's important to rest where i can and indulge in things that make me happy. i've been picking up video games again and finally beat side order for the first time in splatoon 3!! and it felt GREAT!!!

a lot of the art that i've been scheming in my head is very Relevant to things that are happening and if continuing to make art like that is considered an act of rebellion then i feel much more confident in my choice to pursue this as a career choice tbh

i will admit The Dread (seasonal depression combined with... Current World Events) has been seeping in but i think that being creative and trying to stay in the swing of it is a small thing i can try to dedicate myself to. even if it's smth small like doing a study on anatomy or composition etc.

also being cast in a show has taken up a lot of my time emotionally and physically and creatively but i want to start drawing again soon. so i'm going to post little doodles sometime i think.

i am going to continue romanticizing little parts of my life despite the circumstances because sometimes that’s what a gal needs to do to get through her day. things may suck right now but at least I have Ice Coffee and a little almond croissant. fuck yea.
