P2 made bee & sun props for our "Hello Mr Sun" song today. We have been practicing songs & look forward to singing them at our Easter service in church tomorrow. All oare welcome to join us to celebrate 🎶☀️☁️ 🐝☀️🎶

P2 have loved exploring & using the new resources in the Pop up Play Box with Miss Crawford this week. P2 vets examining, treating & looking after animals. "We need to bandage him cos he's hurt." We watched a clip about a girl named Chloe who told us about the condition Downs Syndrome & what it means. Then we decorated our own colourful & mismatched socks to celebrate people with Down's Syndrome. We discussed inclusion, respect, support & having equal opportunities for all 🧦 #LotsOfSocks

We visited Denny Library on Thursday 📚 We enjoyed our scavenger hunt to find different things on the list in books around the library. Then we listened to a lovely story & were given cards to join the library. Check bags for the pink library registration cards we were given 📚 #DunipaceReading

During February we looked at UNCRC Article 19-The right to be safe. We explored what being safe looks like & the ways we can keep safe in different places. We discussed who looks after us at home & school. Then we created hands with names of 5 people who keep us safe🖐🏻 #DunipaceUNCRC #DunipaceHWB

This P2 was excited to teach us about Ramadan. She explained what her family do during Ramadan & showed us her prayer mat, scarf & prayer beads. She taught us some Arabic & some P2s got to try on a headscarf & prayer cap. We are going to create some decorations for our classroom next week🌙⭐🕌
