The most damage sustained would be to his already poor trust towards other people. He's a practical guy preferring people to be honest with him so he can make informed decisions when taking necessary risks.

If intense silence or snarls- Words are no longer needed, things have already escalated to violence. The offender will be harmed, severity depending on the situation
Views Chigusa as a grandmother figure. She watched over him for 5 years helping him understand Eorzean ways, even tried to teach him his letters to questionable success. Now he uses moogle mail to send her gifts of odd finds and coin to help pay for her needs, he'll even visit occasionally
