Seen this kind of thing a few times over the years. That is why when collecting PCE (since the early 90s) I have either purchased to play or in the case of some rarer items, being patient for the right price or picking them up not as an investment

If you haven’t come across it yet, there's a Stargood Un‑Worked Designs patch that restores many of the original Japanese localisation elements, including adjustments to a few boss stats.

One of the games I played to completion multiple times back in the day, loved it apart from some of the pixel perfect jumps you had to make! Dam, I now have the excellent soundtrack stuck in my head again 😀

There was a USA release of the game, however the Japanese release also has an English language option. To enable this:

- When the game starts press right on the menu and select the only menu option.
- On the next menu press right again
- Select the top menu item
- Then select the second menu item

Just completed J.B. Harold Murder Club :-)

Enjoyed this title, one I have never played before even though I have owed it for years!

Used a SSDS3, had a few crashes (debug codes bottom left). However, reloading my save allowed me to progress past the hang point each time.

It’s also worth checking / removing the packing sponge, as these can also degrade and leave marks on the back pages.

A reminder to check your HuCard sleeves for any signs of stickiness.

I recently picked up a brand-new sealed copy of Cadash as a replacement and when I opened it the card sleeve had become sticky causing some minor damage to the back of the HuCard.

This looks like a casette that was written to via an EDOS machine. We had one of these in the shop I had used to work at back in the 90's. Looks like the reseller just forgot to write the title on the label.
