I've been here since 2023. I was in before there were 100k users. Since Day One trans users have been one of the most active, engaged and reliable groups on here. And time and time again they have chosen one single man, one user who is the second most blocked person on this site, over our safety.

It is so deeply disappointing that the leadership team of Bluesky has continuously chosen to try and brush the Singal mess under the rug for months now. A man who has been identified as a bad actor and threat to trans lives in America by GLAAD and other leading trans organizations. And now this.

i'm reminded of this whenever i see people upset about nobody properly tagging. when we do properly tag, you get upset anyway because you saw the tag. but if we don't tag, you apparently don't even recognize it as upsetting.

this is why you can't police consent in art.
