Just saw the most perfect double headlining concert last night with Cannons & Bob Moses. I’ve been a big BM fan for about a decade now, but Cannons I only just got into less than a year ago, & to go to their first sold out show of the tour, it was a fantastic experience!
Danced for 3+hrs straight!

NGL, I seriously considered pre-ordering this comic simply for the cover. Lucas Werneck never misses.

My meeting on Tuesday went well, but nothing immediate in my future with that company. Good to have a contact at that start-up now, which is great for networking!

I did just get an email for an interview next week for a position I applied to yesterday. 13-month contract, but might lead to more.

Saw a FB post about rumors of Odessa A’Zion being eyed as Rogue for the MCU X-Men casting.

I had never heard of her before and had never seen her in anything before, but I must say, she has a great mix of X-Men Evo and 90s/Rivals Rogue vibes imo

The only reason it would never get a perfect is bc of the “misunderstanding”/“liar revealed” being the basis of the plot, which would never happen & is an easy solve to the whole situation. I hate those romcom plots.
Even here, there never ends up being a significant gesture of redemption anyways.

All that said, it had great themes around family and following what brings you passion. It was very 2000s romcom style & was def a feel good flick. I think if they ditched the ads & got a few more dialogue rewrites, this woulda been a near 9/10 fun popcorn movie for me.

As is, it’s fine at 6/10

The movie honestly would’ve been so great if the dialogue was less cheesy/wooden and if the directing of the actors was more consistent. It felt like some cuts and dialogue was tonally very oddly put together and wasn’t terribly smooth, which makes me think this had a lot of re-edits.

Omg the product placement in You Me & Tuscany is so egregious. It felt like half the movie was an ad for iPhones and Maserati, on top of being an ad for Tuscany.
The “chase” at the climax is Bailey driving thru a vineyard for 1 minute in a Maserati showing the logo every other sec—totally needless
