the term "dry spoiling flesh" piqued my interest and it made me think of a fruit I had recently! I bought a carton of watermelon plums recently (from a store that isn't around chicago from what I can tell) and they were pretty tasty and lasted a while before getting wet and mushy. hope it helps!
i have some!! this is just the form i practiced in, and the restraints have helped me lots in the past ^^

to me, this shows intentionality. america atomizes, reducing people to nothing but their paid right to land. to me, the shitty, loud, benzene sprayed sidewalks of america are an intentional choice by tens of thousands of city planners to reinforce that you are only as valuable as your house.
the terminology of "shelter" was introduced to me by my sister in a european city. the buildings around us physically shielded us. it helped block wind, it would protect us from the elements in poor weather. vertical cover inherently makes one feel safer. so few american cities do this.
